The first preparatory meeting of India Japan Laboratory (IJL) was held in Keio University, Japan (Mita campus) on 4th February 2020, with the presence of HE Ambassador of India, Deputy Chief of Mission of Indian Embassy, and participants from top companies and ministry representatives. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Jun Murai, who also explained the objectives of IJL in their welcome remarks. Prof. Rajib Shaw provided an overview of the key pillars of IJL, followed by key remarks from other respected members from the fields of Information technology, Music, Yoga, Culture, Environment, climate change, disaster risk reduction and India-Japan relations.
