On September 10, 2024, at the Mumbai Public School – ICSE, a hands-on learning program titled “Let’s create the energy stations of the future” was held under the theme of SDG Goal 7: Affordable and Clean Energy. This program offered an opportunity for the students to get introduced to the basics of XR (Cross Reality) technology, experience the differences between AR and VR, and use their creativity to visualize future energy stations in VR scenes. First implemented last year in Delhi, the programme targets the next generation to learn technology-based solutions for environmental issues. Students utilized three-dimensional spaces to create their own distinctive visions of clean energy. Their enthusiasm and creativity demonstrated a potential for sustainable future.
