Japan and India signed a peace treaty and established diplomatic relations on 28th April, 1952. On the occasion of commemorating the 70 years of diplomatic relations between Japan and India, from Japan Professor Rajib Shaw, Director of India Japan Laboratory, and from India, Former Ambassador to Japan Aftab Sheth (IJL advisor) and Professor Surabani Roy Choudury, Japanese Studies, School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, were invited for the live talk show of Sansad TV, a dedicated broadcasting for both Indian Lower House and Upper House. While reflecting upon the cordial bilateral linkage and partnership, the speakers shared their visions of future direction of enhancing bilateral relations.
