India Japan Laboratory offered two-week long programme for 39 IIMK students as a part of their curriculum to learn about Japanese ethos. Ms. Tomo Kawane, Senior Researcher, the co-ordinator of the programme, curated their visit with the inputs from Professor Rajib Shaw and IIMK.
39 IIMK students led by Dr. Anupam Das gathered for the Orientation Programe heled at Keio University Mita Campus on 5th February 2024. Tokyo welcomed them with the first snow of the year, and the students got so exited‼
Starting from the Opening Speech of Professor Shaw, Welcome Note by Prof. Motohiro Tsuchiya, Mr. Yukio Takeyari (Senior Researcher)’ s lecture on IT Industry and Innovation in India, Dr. Ranit Chatterjee (Senior Researcher)’s IJL introduction, Ms. Tomo Kawane’s Japanese Immersion Programme Orientation followed. The programme was concluded by Dr. Yuka Ando (Senior Researcher).
Ms. Anuska Ray, IJL member from SFC, Mr. Yusuke Kido and Mr. Yujiro Yahata from Hino Campus of Keio University as volunteers to assist IIMK students.
