On 22nd June 2021, the members of IJL (Keio University, Japan) and the students of the course ‘Culture, Environment and Technology of India’ at Keio University, were hosted by the Embassy of India (Japan) as part of #IndiaAt75 celebrations. The event was organized in a hybrid manner due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, and more than 60 students joined through online mode. Alongside the interaction with the Deputy Chief of Mission and other officials, the event also entailed a brief yoga session with Dr. Reeta Sharma (Vivekananda Cultural Centre’s Teacher of Indian Culture) and a presentation by Mr. Karan Yadav (First Secretary, IEC) about various facets of Indian Culture. Towards the end, brief remarks were delivered by Prof. Rajib Shaw (Director, IJL) and Mr. Yukio Takeyari (Senior Advisor, IJL). Few pictures from the event shown below.
