On 16th January 2022, Keio University India Japan Laboratory (IJL) conducted the first training program of INJAN-AMBASSADOR, focusing on the theme of Japanese Manga/Anime. Organized in a hybrid mode, the event witnessed diverse participants from India and Japan, joining through online and offline mode. Remarkably, the event marks the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and India.
As part of the training, Mr. Yuji Nunokawa (founder of the Anime studio: Pierrot. Co.,Ltd.) shared their vast experiences on the Japanese manga industry, including the worldwide best-seller anime, NARUTO and BLEACH, etc. An overview of history of the Japanese Anime and the current Japanese Anime Business was also provided, before highlighting the characteristics of the ever-growing online video distribution market. The training session concluded with an interactive Q&A session.
